Evaluation

Public/Private Ventures (P/PV) is in the process of conducting an evaluation of JOIN’s first four years. This evaluation will examine JOIN’s impact for low-wage workers, businesses and the regional economy.

P/PV’s evaluation includes:

• Site visits – P/PV conducts regular site visits of JOIN-supported programs, interviewing staff of lead agencies, key partners and employers involved in each investment.
• Data collection – P/PV assesses JOIN-supported programs to ensure they have capable data collection practices and then collects outcomes data from these programs.
• Analysis – P/PV uses its deep expertise in labor market initiatives to assess the effectiveness of JOIN’s work based on the qualitative site visits and the quantitative data.
